CITIZENS OF DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES COME TOGETHER
TO STRIVE FOR A MORE NEIGHBORLY LIVING TOGETHER

Since March 2002 people of different origins and nationalities, with different mother tongues living in Plieningen-Birkach meet regularly. Based on personal experiences and the mutual interest we founded the initiative "BUNT" and aim at an open and tolerant living together of all nationalities in our urban district.
What we want to do above all by means of concrete actions and numerous activities is:

  • to arouse interest in the others
  • to encourage international contacts, create social areas and communities and to look for a space where these can take place
  • to contribute to a tolerance accepting others as being equal
  • to replace prejudices and the fear of foreign infiltration and the loss of culture and identity by impartiality and the pleasure in the enrichment by living together with others.
  • We would be happy if you would like to join BUNT and develop and realize projects and ideas, such as orientation courses for foreign and new citizens, an international festival or a multi-cultural café.
